【摘要】:Useofthisguideisintendedtoprovideinformationonthegalvaniccorrosionofmetalsinelectricalcontactinanelectrolytethatdoesnothaveaflowvelocitysufficienttocauseerosion-corrosionorcavitation.Thisstandardispresentedasaguideforconductinggalvaniccorrosiontestsinliquidelectrolytesolutions,bothinthelaboratoryandinserviceenvironments.Adherencetothisguidewillaidinavoidingsomeoftheinherentdifficultiesinsuchtesting.1.1Thisguidecoversconductingandevaluatinggalvaniccorrosionteststocharacterizethebehavioroftwodissimilarmetalsinelectricalcontactinanelectrolyteunderlow-flowconditions.Itcanbeadaptedtowroughtorcastmetalsandalloys.1.2Thisguidecoverstheselectionofmaterials,specimenpreparation,testenvironment,methodofexposure,andmethodforevaluatingtheresultstocharacterizethebehaviorofgalvaniccouplesinanelectrolyte.Note18212;AdditionalinformationongalvaniccorrosiontestingandexamplesoftheconductandevaluationofgalvaniccorrosiontestsinelectrolytesaregiveninRefs(1)through(7).1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
