【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesthegeneraldimensionsandtolerancesofprecisionhexagonbolts,screwsandnutswithISOmetricthreadsindiametersfrom1.6mmto68mminclusive.Mechanicalpropertiesaregivenonlyinrespectofcarbonoralloysteelbolts,screwsandnuts,whicharenottobeusedforspecialapplications,suchasthoserequiringweldability,corrosionresistanceorabilitytowithstandtemperaturesabove300℃orbelow50℃.NOTENutswithaneffectiveheightoflessthan0.6dand/orwithawidthacrossflatsoroutsidediameteroflessthan1.45dareexcludedfromthemechanicalrequirementsspecified.Thedimensionalrequirementsofthisstandardalsoapplytonon-ferrousandstainlesssteelbolts,screwsandnuts.NOTEItisconsideredthattherangeofnominalsizesincludedinthisstandardisadequateformostoftheapplicationsforwhichthisseriesislikelytobeemployed,butfortheconvenienceofusersrequiringlargersizes,furtherinformationinrelationtothederivationoftolerancesisprovidedinAnnexE.
