【摘要】:Thepourpointofapetroleumspecimenisanindexofthelowesttemperatureofitsutilityforcertainapplications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversandisintendedforuseonanypetroleumproduct.Aproceduresuitableforblackspecimens,cylinderstock,andnondistillatefueloilisdescribedin8.8.ThecloudpointprocedureformerlypartofthistestmethodnowappearsasTestMethodD2500.1.2CurrentlythereisnoASTMtestmethodforautomatedTestMethodD97pourpointmeasurements.1.3SeveralASTMtestmethodsofferingalternativeproceduresfordeterminingpourpointsusingautomaticapparatusareavailable.NoneofthemsharethesamedesignationnumberasTestMethodD97.Whenanautomaticinstrumentisused,theASTMtestmethoddesignationnumberspecifictothetechniqueshallbereportedwiththeresults.AprocedurefortestingthepourpointofcrudeoilsisdescribedinTestMethodD5853.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
